• Performance Plus encourages the use of residual herbicides as a tool to manage glyphosate-resistant pigweed.
• The program will be offered on all Genuity® Roundup Ready® Flex Cotton acres throughout the Delta and Southeast.
• A broad choice of herbicides are provided, allowing farmers to build the right approach for their fields and to plant top performing varieties.
• The more residual herbicides that are used, the higher the refund.
• The program will pay on two applications for select herbicides.

• Plant cotton varieties containing Genuity® Roundup Ready® Flex technology in a qualifying state (see map)
• Purchase qualifying herbicides from an authorized Monsanto retailer between January 3, 2011 and August 31, 2011 and apply at the recommended rate (see chart).
• Submit completed Performance Plus refund form along with the herbicide invoices to the redemption center. Refund submission must be postmarked by August 31, 2011.
• Refunds will be mailed in check form to the retailer selling the cotton technology. Checks will be made out to both the retailer and the farmer.
• Maximum acreage refund will not exceed the amount of acres planted with Genuity® Roundup Ready® Flex based upon the published seed drop rate.
