The occurrence of more 3, 4 and 5 bean pods per plant is contributing to the increased yields seen with Genuity^® Roundup Ready 2 Yield^® Soybeans.

Monsanto researchers compared Genuity^® Roundup Ready 2 Yield^® products to a wide range of first-generation Roundup Ready^® Soybeans from Pioneer, NK and Monsanto in 2009.

Results of the study showed that Genuity^® Roundup Ready 2 Yield^® Soybeans had greater root biomass, more nodes on the main stem, and larger shoot biomass compared to first-generation Roundup Ready Soybeans.

Ultimately, Genuity^® Roundup Ready 2 Yield^® Soybean varieties provided higher yields by producing more beans per pod.
